Personal Computer Minimum Requirements:
|
- Intel Pentium 4 at 2.4 GHz with 400MHz Front Side Bus or
Anthon XP 3000+.
(I have read many reviews from magazines, video sites,
etc. Ultimately it comes down to this, you need a high end processor.
Minimum requirements that are stated on hardware box doesn't always work
adequately or not at all. Often dropped frames, poor video quality are the
result).
- Microsoft Windows XP Home/Media Edition.
- Minimum 512 MB Dual-Channel shared DDR SDRAM or even better (1 GB
memory)
- Extreme Graphics (32MB share memory) or even better (a dedicated video card with minimum 32 MB).
- 40 to 80MB (7200 RPM) Main Hard Drive.
- Dedicated Hard Drive Minimum 40MB (7200 RPM) this can be
internal or external (USB 2.0 or Firewire).
(Dedicated hard drive, I fill is absolutely necessary. Meaning it is for
video only, not a partition from your main hard drive. Your processor will
work significantly faster when operating system files are separate).
- DVD/CD burner this can be internal or external (USB 2.0 or
Firewire).
(DVD-R will play on 95% of DVD players. Get a dual
DVD recorder +/-, the cost difference is minimum. Software is generally
included).
