Don't let your family memories fade away, convert your movies  to DVD

Conversion (analog or digital) to DVD/SVCD/VCD format:

4 Steps of DVD production:

  • Capture

  • Edit

  • Render

  • Burn

Capture Device:

  • Dazzle Digital Video Creator 150 USB 2.0 which contains software for editing, and burning  to DVD/VCD/SVCD. Note: There is several other devices available on the market such as ADS, Adaptec. (The Dazzle converts the analog or digital signal in real time, meaning the unit has a DVD encoder chip converting the signal to Mpeg 1 or 2 before it lands on your hard drive. This is a  significant time saver. Now you are ready to edit the video,  adding special effects, narrations and tiles etc).

  • You can use a video capture card, if you have available PCI slot. Remember though most video capture cards or so called PVR are propriety, meaning they generally convert the analog or digital signal to a file that needs again to be converted Mpeg 1 or 2 for burning onto DVD, again adding significant more time to the process.

Editing:

  • Generally all capture devices are sold with basic software package to allow you to edit the video, to add narrations, special effects, and tiles etc.

Render: Final production

Burning: DVD, SVCD or VCD

Next: Straight to DVD, without the PC
